Palm OS on Asus EEE PC

Lucky me received an Asus eee PC in my christmas stocking. I have been playing with it ever since, trying to squeeze functionality out of it. So when I came across this post at the eee user forum, I was intrigued. You know I’m a fan of the Palm OS so running an emulator looked a bit of fun. The set up was easy enough, but finding programs that would run was something else. So maybe it was ambitious to try and run Bejewelled, but a pleasant surprise was eReader. I have loads of ebooks, many bought through eReader.com. The problem is that they are locked with eReader’s own form of DRM encryption, you must use the eReader program. I am pleased to say that this runs fine via the emulator and with the font cranked up at least the books are readable. (The screenshot shows the No1 Ladies Detective Agency, I am so looking forward to the film version due sometime……)
