A Week of Contrasts

brown-buckeye-butterfly-5k2.jpg It really has been a week of contrasts for me regarding customer service departments. From my impotent rage at the water company (all sorted finally) to my wrestle with Vodafone over my phone sim that suddenly stopped working last week. It took 2 calls, 2 emails,  3 replacement sims and an hour in my local Vodafone store to sort out. The chap there was insistent that he had never come across this problem before and that it must be my Treo 500 at fault, and was it a Vodafone phone? (it is plastered with Vodafone logos and junk!!!). Then and there I changed the sim over from my T-mobile phone to prove him wrong, apparently it was a problem at the Vodafone end surprise, surprise.

Coincidently, I had a slight problem with one of our T-Mobile sims too this week. A quick call to their customer service to report that my GPRS Data had stopped working, brought forth not only a remedy and apology, but a month’s free line rental for all our TMO phones. So you see, it is not always all bad.
