Hi Perry. Years of playing with psions and the "evil" PsiWin have made me very wary about syncing with my newer home computer, using the SSD drive is really only a means of keeping a backup. I do have a few SSD programs that run quite well, but having the 1mb sienna means I can keep them in RAM, no probs. I would get an SSD drive if you ever find one cheap enough (they do crop up) but you can easily get by without one. Hope this helps. Most of all, have fun with the siena, people will always be curious about your dinky little computer :-)

Hi. I recently picked up a Siena at a local garage sale here in the States (Wisconsin), and I am anxiously waiting for my serial cord to arrive from E-Bay. Anyway, I am thinking that it would be fun to get an SSD Drive (although I would have to replace the power source as we are 110 volts here). if I would use it. The question I have for you is do you use your SSD much? Do you always use it with the flash SSD, or do you also use program SSDs? Unfortunately the cheapest drive I have seen is about 40 pounds plus shipping.

Because, as an existing customer, I suspect they will offer me the chance to opt-in. they usually do this via call or text.

Oh not because of bad service. Virgin mobile has rightly won quite a few awards for their customer service. However, the tariff is targetted at bringing new users in so they won't be advertising it to existing payg users. Free to opt-in of course but it is a one-way change as the existing tariffs will become legacy tariffs. If you are using £20 a month though the tariff is amazing for PAYG. The other networks will ask for atleast £30 before giving unlimited texts. For £10/£15 you're going to be wanting to atleast be a frequent text user to be getting use out of it or daily bonus would be the better option.

Sad but true. I've been with Virgin since the very start. Lately, customer service has been a bit hit and miss. Nagging usually pays off. I still think Three customer service absolutely stinks. O2 and Vodafone are both, at best, ambilvalent towards customers and recently Orange has taken a massive nose dive. Asda have been excellent so far. Familymobile are a bit under trained in my experience. Every one has had bad experiences. You takes yer pick really.
